I love the idea of picking up sugar lumps and delicately placing them into a delicate cup of tea, but sadly that doesn’t tend to happen now, so sugar tongs no longer have a practical use.

They are however perfect for making easy-to-wear and stunning bangles, such as these with their beautiful bright-cut pattern.

The bangle comes with its certificate from the Assay Office giving details of its former life
